Kevin Augustyn

Instructor

Catholic theology and Christian history with a specialization in patristic theology, medieval history, and biblical exegesis.

Kevin is the Director of Development for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at George Mason University and an adjunct instructor in the Religious Studies Department.

He holds a B.A. in philosophy and theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, an MDiv. from St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver, an S.T.B. in theology from the Lateran University in Rome and an M.Phil. in Medieval Church History from the Catholic University of America, where he is also currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation on unpublished manuscripts of commentaries on the Gospel of Matthew.

After eleven years of pastoral leadership and development in the Catholic Church of Northern Colorado, he joined CHSS’s Development team in 2015 and has been teaching adjunct in the Religious Studies Department since the Fall of 2016.
