On March 15, 2013, John Farina, associate professor of religious studies delivered a Plenary Address entitled "Why Religion is Important to Civil Society" at an interantional scholarly conference sponsored by the Romanian Academy of Sciences and the University of Baia Mare "Experience and Explanation in the Knowledge Society."
