Areas of interest:
Professor Nguyen received his B.A. from Van Hanh University (Vietnam)
and his Ph.D. from Harvard
University. His research interests include History of Religion, South
Asian Religions, Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism and Religious Literature
in Sanskrit.
His publications include books and articles on
Buddhism and he is currently working on a book on Sthiramati, a fifth
century Indian Buddhist philosopher.
